Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sigma Valet platform, websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Glotario LLC ("Sigma Valet," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Agreeing to these Terms does not opt you in to text messages. SMS consent is separate and entirely optional, is given only at sigmavalet.com/sms-optin, and is never required to accept these Terms, use the Services, park a vehicle, create an account, or make any purchase.

1. Acceptance of terms
By using the Services, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and are able to form a binding contract. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The Services
Sigma Valet provides a valet parking management platform that enables participating valet operators and venues to issue digital tickets, coordinate contactless vehicle retrieval, send transactional notifications by SMS and email, and collect valet fees and tips. The Services may be used by valet operators, their staff, and guests of participating locations. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
3. Accounts & eligibility
- Certain features require an account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security breach.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to permit others to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- Send unsolicited, unauthorized, or unlawful messages, or use the messaging features for marketing without proper consent;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by law;
- Upload malware or any code intended to damage or disrupt the Services;
- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party; or
- Use the Services to collect or store personal data of others without a lawful basis and appropriate consent.
5. Payments & fees
Payments made through the Services — including valet fees and tips — are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the amounts presented at checkout, including any applicable taxes.
- Fees and pricing are set by the applicable valet operator or venue and are displayed before you confirm payment.
- Except as required by law or expressly stated, payments are non-refundable. Refund or dispute requests should be directed to the valet operator or to us at the contact details below.
- For operators, subscription or platform fees (if any) are governed by the separate order form or agreement between you and Sigma Valet.
6. Messaging & notifications (SMS Terms & Conditions)
SMS consent is separate from these Terms, and entirely optional
Accepting these Terms of Service does not enroll you in text messages, and text-message consent is not a condition of accepting these Terms. The SMS program described in this section applies only to guests who separately and voluntarily opt in at sigmavalet.com/sms-optin. You may accept these Terms, use the Services, park a vehicle, create an account, and pay for parking without ever providing a mobile number or consenting to text messages. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, and declining costs you nothing.
The Services send transactional SMS and email messages related to valet visits. The following terms apply to the Sigma Valet text-messaging program (see also our Privacy Policy):
- Program description: Sigma Valet sends transactional text messages to guests of participating valet locations who opt in at sigmavalet.com/sms-optin by entering their own mobile number, checking the consent box, and confirming a one-time verification code sent to that number. Valet attendants do not collect or enroll mobile numbers. Messages may include ticket confirmations, verification codes, car-ready alerts, and links to manage or pay for your parking ticket. This is not a marketing program.
- Opting out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, reply START to lift the block on your number, then sign up again at sigmavalet.com/sms-optin as you did the first time. Replying START on its own only removes the block — it does not enroll you, does not create a valet ticket, and no messages follow from it alone.
- Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at support@sigmavalet.com.
- Carrier disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Rates and frequency: As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
- Privacy: If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our privacy policy at https://sigmavalet.com/privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
7. Intellectual property
The Services, including all software, text, graphics, logos, and the "Sigma Valet" name and branding, are owned by Glotario LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for their intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
8. Third-party services
The Services rely on third-party providers, including Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), and Postmark (email). Your use of features powered by these providers may be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or content of third parties.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT MESSAGES WILL BE DELIVERED WITHOUT DELAY OR FAILURE. VALET PARKING SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY THE APPLICABLE VALET OPERATOR OR VENUE, NOT BY SIGMA VALET.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIGMA VALET AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Glotario LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas for any dispute not subject to arbitration, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
14. Changes to these terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
